Policy Guidelines


1. The President's Dance shall be held on the second Saturday in January to honor the incoming NBC President. Responsibility for this event shall rest with the incoming president's sponsoring club. (1/88)
2. N.B.C. shall sponsor and promote member participation at an annual work party for the benefit of a public marine facility on the fourth weekend of March. (1/88)
3. N.B.C. shall hold their annual picnic on the first full weekend in June. (1/88)
3A. The location of the annual picnic, when hosted by one or two member clubs, shall be at the discretion of the hosting clubs providing the location can adequately support the anticipated attendance and activities. (1/88)
3B. When the annual picnic is the responsibility of several member clubs, the location shall alternate between north and south, based on the prior years location. (1/88)
3C. All children 12 years of age and under who are registered and in attendance at the annual picnic shall be entitled to a free hot-dog and a can of pop. those members registered and in attendance who are seventy (70) years of age and older shall be entitled to a free hot-dog and can of pop. (1/88)
3D. Annual Picnic - Horseshoes Competition. (4/99) Score to win the first round will 11 points, the second round 15 points, and thereafter, 21 points. The tournament will be single elimination with the final two teams playing best two out of three games. Scoring will be three points for a “ringer” and one point for a “close shoe” or “leaner”. Only one team can score in each round. (3/88)
